    You may be an existing Business Development Manager within the recruitment industry, a senior 360-degree consultant looking to make a significant career move or a successful sales person from a related industry.

    Reporting directly to the General Manager Growth in Australia this exciting Wellington based role will focus on driving and delivering to our sales strategy across all lines of business with a specific focus on the Government sector, professional and contact centre workforce solutions.

    This pivotal role with see you excel by utilising your extensive networking and communication skills, your ability to connect the dots between needs and solutions and your ability to hit the ground running.

    You will join the National Sales Team across ANZ and as a trusted and integral team member you will be responsible for;

    • Researching new business opportunities in targeted industries
    • Leveraging company reputation and your own network of contacts to best effect
    • Developing true business partnerships that add value to our clients and Programmed
    • Maintaining an accurate and ongoing sales pipeline
    • Strategic brainstorming and implementation of new business development initiatives with senior management
    • Tender writing and submissions
    • Developing opportunities to cross sell products to existing clients
    • Working collaboratively with the National Sales team on strategic pursuits


    • A minimum 2 years' experience in a sales-based recruitment role or 3 years B2B sales experience. Government experience would be an advantage.
    • The ability to identify new opportunities and close
    • Be approachable and confident in dealing with a variety of people including colleagues, internal and external management and all stakeholders
    • Experience working to and hitting KPIs and targets
    • Have strong computer literacy, Microsoft Office and Dynamics Sales CRM or similar
    • Strong proposal writing skills
    • Ability to adapt to the new virtual selling environment
