I am a very hard working, proactive and passionate person with ten years experience of working in professional kitchens in England, Spain and New Zealand. I demonstrate an excellent attitude towards work combined with efficient time keeping. I have a passion for quality food and where that food comes from. I like to go and locate where produce is sourced, such as going to fish markets and farms to see for myself where the produce has been looked after. I quickly adapt to solving problems and generally assist in all situations while observing all health and safety aspects. I like to develop new skills and progress further in my career by taking in as much as I can. I am always looking at minimising waste and the cost of making a dish and also reducing cost from the supplier. I feel I have a good understanding on GP Tracking, ordering, costing, training, health and hygiene and designing menus.
I have just had my working visa extended for another two years and would like to settle in my next job roll and hope to after that, apply for residency. My next opportunity is to run my own kitchen once again as I feel that I am ready to run a successful and motivated team. I would like to put what I have learnt into practice and progress to the next step in my career.
